Maxo does try to pattern his style after Nas but skills wise he falls a bit short. What he does similar to Nas is use his own life experience to try to paint a picture of the macro socioeconomic conditions of Alief/SWAT.

Nas does a great job between being introspective and socio-concious. Maxo tries to emulate that. Honestly being from Alief, I hope someone can tell our story the way Nas was able to capture QB.

This is all I'm saying. If you listen to his music, all he does is tell stories which most new rappers don't do at all. Nas came with that "looking out my project window...this is what happens in QB" style. Maxo got the same approach but reinterpelated for his era and culture.

If you can't feel that last verse I don't know what to tell you.

The rap game is really in disarray if this guy is considered this era's Nas.
