people really haven't watched Asik play if they don't think he's a top 5-10 center
he's one of the best defensive centers in the league and he's a great rebounder...on offense...not so much...but his defense and rebounding make up for it
he'd start for almost any team in the league and lead them in rebounding and improve their defense from day one.
and as a Rockets fan I just want something to go down...these rumors flying around are making my head hurt...I just read something about us going after Dwight AND Josh Smith...plus trading Asik and Lin...already released Delfino and Brooks...shyt is like a full time job keeping up with this shyt

we even tried to trade Lee for Asik but bulls wouldn't do it.
Asik was insurance for Noah, Gibson usually finishes games for us as loozer can't D up.
It wasn't the same return on investment paying asik over paying gibson. Asik was playing 15 minutes a game son with the bulls.

Yea but Asik is an elite defender and a brick wall, he can singlehandedly close up driving lanes. I can think of 5 teams that would be better served with him as their starting center.
