Can’t say too much about this game, when you’re two best players drop stinkers, this is exactly what happens. The only thing is they lost by three, moral victories, don’t count, but it’s something. Shout out to Reed Shepherd, though, he practically willed the team back in early on. Props to Amen Thompson and Jabari Smith Jr as well, Jabari Smith in particular was looking like a power forward Ray Allen.

The adjustment I see is that double big plus Amen is going to be most effective with Sheppard in and KD out. I don’t think they can start unless the size advantage is massive.

IMO when/if DFS and Tari are back in the mix they should try to run “smaller” for some spurts just to get KD some space.

You can tell how much Brooks meant to all the guys here. It was all love before and after the game. Him, Ime, and FVV truly changed the entire culture of the team in just two years, and everybody is really buying into it.

Good all around balanced game from them last night. The PG spot was more than solid, even with JD getting in there and contributing. Amen and Sengun did their thing, with Amen continuing to rebound from some previous games. These are the types of games you want from guys when KD or any main guy is out.
