Always enjoy clapping the Mavs. The game was kind of ugly but KD hit clutch shots down the stretch and the defense was still elite. Okogie even with just two points was still very impactful. A nice little Tate appearance as well lmao.

Even with an off night from KD, what a beating this was. That Okogie contract is looking like a complete steal. I don’t see why that’s all he was able to get in the first place since he’s been general a positive player every where he’s been. Jabari came back and looked seamless, Reed had his best game, Capela filled in nicely, Eason not point shaving anymore, and Sengun/Amen look like a star tandem. Good time right now with while not being at 100%.

Non KD Rockets shooting over their heads from 3 but what I like from watching them is they know how to fill space. If you’re gonna sell out on Sengun/KD then Amen is just gonna live at the rim.

Okogie and Tari can get to the line and Jabari got the middies that he can get to. Just a solid all around team

Reed with another standout game. The FVV injury sucks, but we’d probably never see this had that not happened. I get the same feeling I did when the Brook Lopez deal fell through and we were “forced” to start Sengun. Team looking very well balanced right now even with the injuries. DFS will be a factor as well when he comes back. Currently KD doesn’t HAVE to be number one, only in the clutch.

The ball movement was probably the best it’s been all season in this one. Sengun and Sheppard leaps turn Houston into a different animal. Okogie probably the best value signing in the league and they still got Finney Smith waiting to make an impact.

Glad the Rockets were able to put them away from the third quarter and on. Another balanced game from everybody , plus continued flashes from Reed, clutch shots from KD, and from top to bottom being very productive from the bottom to the top here.

Sheppard may have to start until DFS and Tari are back. Or at the very least a really quick hook on Okogie

I lowkey enjoyed seeing the Magic play with so much confidence and fire, having such command of the game, then you started seeing momentum flip and the Magic couldn’t do anything right, and the Rockets just started to bury them. Reed continues to gain confidence game by game and that’s great to see. With FVV’s injury, you were going to need to see a jump from Reed and Amen (if you are considering Amen a PG) and I’m glad we’re getting that. Not a fan of the shortened lineup with Tari being out, but they got the win and that’s all that matters. KD and Sengun were crazy clutch down the stretch to put them away.

We have to do more to make our starting lineup more efficient. Okogie and Amen need more strategic placement to offense. Or something. Because they were invisible for most of the game. Amen specifically was invisible. No matter who was on the floor with him. There was a point j the second quarter where the lineup was him Holiday, Reed, and I think double big and Amen wasn’t even apart of the offense . Jsut cardio out there. Reed has taken the leap. Now amen needs to. Because his defense hasn’t been as good to start the season based off of the standard he has set. Jabari got posterized by Sharpe because of Amen and two big dunks happened to night because of his rotation

I think Ime is just waiting until the second half of the season to give Reed a chance at starting pg( similar to what he did with amen last season). Reed has to get better with his footwork on defense and just keeping his assignment in front of him

Good win the other night despite the flaws. The third quarter reared its ugly head again, but your main guys closed it out. Love Reed’s continued impact. You can tell he’s getting a ton of confidence.

not trying to jinx them before the denver game but houston now has the no.1 srs in the league at 11.20 which is top 10 in nba history. okc was no.1 for most of the season with the best record and best point differential but they've played the easiest schedule so far in the league while houston has played the 12th toughest.
