It was just frustrating watching him the entire series, cause (outside of them simply making FTs), if you swapped him with Mikal Bridges or Austin Reeves, you more than likely win that series. It’s funny seeing “gutted their team” social media reactions when that’s not the case at all. The KD trade ideally opens up more time for Reed, Tari, and hopefully Whitmore. I don’t like Brooks in the trade just cause he was a culture changer along with Ime and FVV, but Tari and Amen should’ve siphoned enough of his style and should be able to carry that. Seems like the Rockets really stood firm on not giving up younger guys, and instead just unloaded a bunch of second rounders, which more than likely will be some Croatians and Yugoslavians that’ll never see the US.
