Only thing about buying this team now is the owner is not going see anywhere near the same returns Les Alexander got. Stock market , sports franchise values, and league revenues are at an all time high. If you buy this shyt it's not for the money since shyt will probably normalize in a couple years.
I wonder what the economics of being a nba owner are like. The group that bought the sixers paid $280 mil and used leveraged money. I'm surprised the league even approved that shyt it was so low (also wonder why no one else bid more). Do NBA teams profit enough where you can barely have enough money to buy and still support salaries and amenities even if league ratings and revenues go down

1.) If Les needs liquidity, merely taking offers on the team can give him cause to go to the bank and expand his line. Basically if the bank says "your shyt is worth a milli, we had our guys run the numbers." And then Les finds 3 people to buy it for 2 milli, he can go back and say I need more credit against this asset.
2.) If someone do buy in Houston its gonna be by some cowboy boot and business suit wearing natural gas cac who doesnt see whats wrong with calling black men 'boy'.
