Heard the Texans want to trade up in the top 10, and if they do, I guess it would take Clowney to do it. Ehhh, IDK how I feel about any of this til it shakes out in the first place.

Basically the only way to do it. If Clowney isn't in a trade, I read the Texans would trade 3 picks to move up in the top 10. Now that.....ehhhhh, I don't know if you do that, cause really, picks are a premium for this team.

Got way too many holes on the team to be giving up picks. Is Clowney worth $100 million when he's not an elite pass rusher?

Clowney was a G when Watt went down people are quick to forget. That being said he wants more money than Mack. I doubt we fleece a team for 3 1’s like the Raiders got but I’d be very happy with an outright 1 for this year and a 2 this year or 2 2’s for next year.

Agree with both of these. Clowney is a game wrecker, but he simply hasn't been as consistent as we need him to be. If he was Duke Ejiofor instead of the #1 pick, that would be 100% fine, but you draft a guy #1 to be a consistent game changing guy and he hasn't been that. Ideally, either you re-sign him for less than Mack, or you try to get a massive haul for him. Would be nice if they could somehow finesse a ton of picks from the Jets, Bucs, or Cardinals.
