The H
Mills was not going to win us the game last night. With our luck he would've had a Rosencopter moment. But I also don't have faith that CJ's confidence hasn't been bruised bad enough that he may very well have topped off. We've had worse O-Lines, and Chubb was finding his holes, and we didn't get him the ball enough imo.

If we're gonna blame the coordinator? It's having too much faith in Stroud's ball security, while trying much in a hostile environment. We should've been conservative that 1st quarter, and let him ease into the plays. The defense was too good, to risk throws like we did. Mills was not going to win us the game either. For better or worse, it had to be CJ, on that I agree.

Lol my guy kept it 100 here. Wow. And you're right too @Mike_Pipeson although I'll say the o line is below average
I know the O-line ain't good but it had been decent this and last game and CJ doesn't get the benefit of getting that excuse every year when they are showing signs of improvement but not him.

It's the same delayed reactions that everyone sees about if he wants to scramble out of the pocket, plant his feet and chunk it, or the very unlikely run on his own. When he does decide, it's always too late and it's the wrong one as of late.

He didn't have this problem in freshman year and I think this is the first time he's had this type of hardship.
He reminds me a lot of Jalen Green and that's horrible.
I wanna like the kid but he doesn't have heart, and that just as important as skill.

Nah, after watching the afccg, it's fukk CJ for life unless he plays spectacular this next year. We could have finally been in the SB.
He needs to spend the entire off season doing cognitive work.

Lions fan here. Houston gave up a lot but it’s a good trade for a simple reason: it makes Stroud better. Really good RB who can block, catch out the backfield, get difficult yards etc. With fresh legs after splitting carries with Gibbs. He was basically sidelined last season because our OC was too stupid to figure out how to use him.

I expect him to have the same impact as Mixon when he was traded here. I still would like to know what the hell has gone on with Mixon. He and they have been tight lipped all year.
