Isaac Paredes has a .865 OPS with 15 HRs for the Rays. He was absolute dogshyt with the Tigers and I wasn't even mad when that moron Avila traded him for Austin Meadows.

Torkelson will probably get traded at some point and hit 40 HRs for his next team.

Speaking of Meadows, it's absolutely insane how going to Detroit completely broke him. He was an All-Star in 2019 and hit 27 HRs with 102 RBIs in 2021 with Tampa. Got to Detroit, never hit a home run and is having mental breakdowns for two straight years. I need an investigation into this.

Taillon was one of the top pitching prospects in baseball as a minor leaguer. Injury killed his ceiling. But he was there with Gerrit Cole as a top talent with Pittsburgh.

They've leaned so much into the logic that batting average doesn't matter that they're more than ok having the whole team hit .220 or less.

I get so annoyed at how MLB teams act like such fukking pussies with their starting pitchers.

Corbin Burnes gave up just 2 runs and had 90 pitches with a 6-2 lead.
He can't come out for the 7th inning?

Yesterday George Kirby had a 4-0 lead in the 7th inning. He gives up 1 run. Gets taken out the game. 6.2 innings, 93 pitches.
For what?

Went to my first Freeway Series yesterday. Fun, good game. Saw 7 homers; Betts with 2. Wish Ohtani was able to smack one out.

There was a drone show after the game. That was a treat to see.
