It doesn’t help that they have no good veterans to trade for prospects. They have to build from the bottom.

They need to sign some actual Major League hitters too. This winter they added nothing to a lineup that was already the worst in baseball and the most HRs in the lineup was 17. Only four guys on the team had double digit HRs in 2022 and the totals were 11, 13, 14 and 17.

Torkelson looking like a massive bust is not helping matters. Casey Mize is also on that list.
