The Acuna/Mookie MVP vote is probably gonna be really tight and I see the arguments both ways, but Acuna's consistency should give him the edge. Compare their averages/OPS by month:

Acuna:
April - .353/1.004
May - .298/.933
June - .356/1.111
July - .326/.917
August - .352/1.005
September - .343/1.121

Mookie:
April - .242/.767
May - .269/.958
June - .309/1.037
July - .305/1.011
August - .455/1.355
September - .241/.714

I might be biased but I don't really see how Mookie would get a first place vote over Acuna. Mookie had a great year, no question about that but Acuna matched him or surpassed him every category and then stole 73 bases to go along with it. But that's me.

His drop off was massive end of career
It was but his body was shot. I think Miggy was a better "pure" hitter than Pujols but as much as it pains me to say, Pujols was better at his peak. His run in STL was ungodly. The numbers speak for themselves.
