Really wish Tatis didn't get popped for PEDs. He's been great this year but that will be righlty held over his head. Doesnt help the Padres have been so bad but I forget about his name when I'm thinking of the best young players because he cost himself being celebrated in the same light.

Tatis is right there with Ohtani, Judge, Acuna and Carroll as some of the most impressive players so far this season.

Also Yandy Diaz, who I noted as being a major sleeper before the season.

Btw it’s not likely to happen but if Jake Burger could lower his strikeout rate he’d be one of the biggest power threats in the game.

That guy needs a clinic from Barry Bonds or Jim Thome on how to avoid chasing pitches out of the zone. Because if he had more discipline he’d be amazing.

Comparisons are being made about Shohei Ohtani being on Aaron Judge's 2022 HR pace as he currently sits at 29 on June 30.
Something to watch, for sure.

Let's not overlook the fact that Atlanta's Matt Olson is right there with him, at 26 HR.
