For some reason I always watch these red carpets for the MLB All-Star Game.


I don't know how else they can better structure the events they have. HBCU game, futures game, celeb softball game, home run derby, red carpet special. the game itself.

They've lucked out with great weather every time.

2024- Arlington
2025- TBD
2026- Philly


Baltimore should get 2025. Haven't seen one since '93. Toronto since '91. Cubs haven't hosted one since '90, Boston since '99. Atlanta since 2000 (they woulda got it in '21 but they fukked up.

This may be counter-intuitive but as exciting as Elly de la Cruz has been, from a fantasy baseball perspective he is probably a fantastic sell high candidate.

I mean if your league doesn't penalize you too much for strikeouts, and you get a great boost for steals, I'd say he has value.
But if you can get a front-end starting pitcher for him, I'd say take it.

I can't speak for other countries or Puerto Rico, but I'd be shocked if they didn't have something official. I'm fairly certain there has to be something in PR. I thought Carlos Correa came up through something like that.

I've been to a couple of the academies in DR.
But there are lots of other "unofficial" academies or schools run by various guys. It can get pretty shady in DR as far as who runs a legit program. If you're connected to the right scouts or former MLB players, you can kinda get the inside track on which players get signed and which ones don't.
