I don’t know but I wouldn’t care about any major leaguers coming in return.

I’d want some hard throwing young prospects. Kids who are probably in rookie ball or A-ball.

I don’t know what the Tigers finances are but in theory I could envision them shipping E-Rod out for minor league prospects and some overpaid reliever that some other team wants off their books.

To get a better frame of reference I’d want to look at last year’s market value. That’s a fair starting point.

We gave up some decent pieces (2 top 10's another starter and something else).

The best player we gave up so far has been JP Sears and at best he's probably a 4th starter. Medina is the best piece but Oakland hasn't realized that he's much more cut out to be a reliever than a starter.

I just want some bats. Prospects for sure but I'd like one Major League ready bat. Doesn't have to be a beast. I just want someone else who can hit over .250. They had three guys in tonight's lineup who fit that criteria.
