at Drake being better because he "bodied" Jay on "Pound Cake". He's expected to have the best verse on his own song. I guess Jay Z is supposed to "renegade" everybody on guest appearances in spite of his detractors saying Jay has been "renegaded" more times than any of the greats.

To answer the thread, neither one of them is bringing their A game. Out of the two albums, only "Heaven" stood out in terms of performance as an MC. Their guest spots could go either way, though I'm inclined to say Drake's had better features. I also found MCHG to be more enjoyable than NWTS. That being said, Jay gets the edge.

I've never met one person IRL that preferred Drake's verse to Jay's on Pound Cake. It's not even close imo. Jay took that shyt and made it look easy.
