I think we're starting to get to the point of penalizing NaS for having too many classics. At first glance saying he has six or seven classics seem absurd but when you break it down

shyt u know how many people love "I AM" more than any other nas record?


Life is Good is a modern classic. Untitled was groundbreaking in 2008, records like Sly Fox.America......It was written, stillmatic, illmatic.....sheesh

The fukk are these on the list for. I can see american gangsta for hov, and untitled making it for nas. Even god son. Honestly, nas has more classics when thinking about it.

Lost tapes is basically a classic though. Even if it is just a compilation of unreleased shyts. No weak tracks at all.

I think Jay might think Volume 2 is a classic, given how big it was at the time, how much it meant to his career, and how many hits it has on it. Volume 2 was his Carter 3/Get Rich or Die Trying breakout moment. And The Source gave it 4.5 mics when that meant something. Maybe he felt robbed on that. Not sure I agree. Just a hunch.
