We know that Hilary is shiesty, like most politicians.
My question to you tho, is can you admit that as shiesty and shytty as she is, do you feel she would do a better job than Trump?
Would she represent the office better internationally?
Would she be better for the environment?
Better for trade agreements?
Would she be better, in your opinion? Yes or no?
Objectively, that's hard to quantify.
She'd definitely represent the office better, from a matter of optics. She picks her words wisely. Shes much more professional. We can definitely argue over whether our relationship with other countries would be BETTER, given her very concerning history, haiti, the threats of droning foreign journalists, and the scandal with Benghazi come to mind.
I also genuinely do think she'd be better for the environment, but in a more symbolic-than-action way. She signaled against climate change but her policies primarily involved a push for natural gas, which is hardly an improvement over fossil fuel if we are just looking at effects on environment. Coupled with the fact, she also said she would continue support for coal, it seemed like she was simply towing the line, with a carefully worded way of saying such.
Trade agreements id say trump takes that by a long shot, the Paris climate agreement alone showing how much taxpayer money was essentially being given away with no producable evidence of tangible benefits.
Trumps decision on stuff like chinas trade war is messy but it will lead to one of two things long term, which are cheaper chinese exports overall (this being his plan), or worst case the US companies bring the work here bringing a dramatic drop in unemployment. And we cant say his tactics dont work as mexico has improved dramatically on immigration after the tariffs were over their head.
So on question 1, yes she'd be better
Question 2, no she's not better. it was not very clear how she was going to dramatically improve our environment, without increased cost of living from switching to natural gas. And 4 years of trump will not make noticable change in our ecosystem. So no.
Question 3, big no. given trumps headstrong methods that have produced results, juxtaposed to the very high Potential that hillary does favors for countries in exchange for personal monetary gain, id say trump is way better on trade.
So with 2 of the 3 being no. I would have to say she wouldn't do a better job. Would she do a more professional job? No question. But we have to separate results from optics.
We have to do this because Democrats are well aware many of us will just vote dem because theres no choice. But we DO have the choice to be vigilant on where our party is slipping, vocalize our dissatisfaction with it, and demand more, demand higher quality candidates who devote real time to improving black issues, and demand a party that relies on results instead of promises and optics.
You asked one header question, do you rock with trump, and the preceding questions were directed at those who do. I've illustrated in this very thread, in detail why i dont "rock" with trump, so i dont need to answer the other shyt.
