How advanced do you think technology will be in the year 3000?

I was just thinking about how only a few years ago we were using flip phones and how people were having discussions about how cool it would be to have 'magic like' phones where you could touch it like a keyboard. Don't even get me started on gamers and their predictions of real life looking characters.

It's amazing how advanced technology has become within over a decade, i could only imagine how the year 3000 and 4000 would be.

Not as advanced as you think it will be because typically the ppl who build out great technological inventions become vested in making as much money off it as they can. It's one of the things i really hate about humanity, we don't do things for our own collective benefits.

I read about the Elon Musk's hyperloop idea not to long ago and also just recently this idea about solar highways...two ideas that if they could be combined would revolutionize transportation as we know it. They are both pipe dreams right now and would cost exorbitant amounts of money, those are two things that keep technological achievements from ever seeing the light of day.

I hope my descendents have the opportunity to be harvested by the reapers. It would be the ultimate testament to the great strides in technology that mankind has made .
