I did online dating and I got hundreds of messages and a lot of guys would message me multiple times so their messages would move to the top and the guys that only sent one message would be on like page 3 which I never went to. So that could be the reason.

I wouldn't say completely useless, it's a decent gauge of what types of chicks you can attract and can be used to sharpen your game to an extent

Some people click right on everything, and then converse with who they really find attractive after they get their matches.
