As the video pointed out, beyonce stole ameries sound and rode her wave to success - the evidence is all there, if you CHOOSE not to see it :hubie:

And my point about DasFx is that everybody used that style afterward - you can’t eat if people with larger followings than you steal your sound.
Beyoncé didn't have anything that sounded like Why Don't We Fall In Love on her debut. Matter fact she had a bunch of Scott Storch production on her debut and we know how big Storch was at the time. I may be wrong but I don't think Amerie had any Storch production. And producers work with different artists all the time so its hard to use that argument becuz most producers have their own sound. If Amerie produced her own music than you would have a point. That's like saying Jay bit Nas' sound becuz he used Primo on RD like Nas did on Illmatic. You're right about Dax Efx and people biting their style. But style and sound are two different things

This thread gets made at least once a year

Again - I did a thread search and this is the 10th thread created with amerie’s name in the title in the history of this entire site :francis:

Also this video was made in August 2017, she did a good job of compiling evidence and interviews. :yeshrug:

I’m not even a fan of Beyoncé but Amerie wasn’t sabotaged.

So here’s 2 questions you’ll ignore: the way Dj envy and Charlemagne asked her that question out of the blue, where do you think that came from?

How is it that thousands of people that don’t know each other came to that same conclusion? :gucci:

Beyoncé didn't have anything that sounded like Why Don't We Fall In Love on her debut.

Stopped reading here

THE VIDEO I POSTED SAID NOTHING ABOUT WHO TOOK WHAT FOR THEIR DEBUT, SHE SAID AMERIES WHOLE SOUND WAS TAKEN FROM HER FIRST TWO ALBUMS.

This is an argument that YOU brought to shift the discussion in your favor, nah don’t do that.

What you’ll refuse to do is explain this:

See you cats are in this thread picking and choosing what you see because you know there’s validity to this argument...

in 2018, try and have some character about yourselves, on and offline :pachaha:

Jay was never goofy at all. Matter fact when RD dropped nikkas was like "who is this nobody talking all this shyt about having all this money?". Then on Vol 1 he explained to us who he was. Jay has always marketed himself and started multiple trends. Doesn't sound like a goofy nikka to me

The 'Jay-Z persona' is dope and he is about his business.....But if you think thats who he actually is I gotta bridge to sell you breh....

This is a bad example:mjlol:

Crazy In Love came out waaaaaaay before 1 Thing. Based on that example I could use the argument that Rich Harrison was trying to recreate the success he had with Crazy In Love by making 1 Thing.
:sas2:

Amerie took Beyoncé's sound:troll:

See here you go again, the argument is that her sound was hijacked - all these time stamps are arguments YOU all are making

The point is that her sound was hijacked - beyonce snatched up het producer and stole her sound

You’re denying this? :sas1:

Lol @ dude acting like Ashanti wasn’t bigger than Beyoncé from 2002-2004.

It’s sad how nikkas be trying to play Ashanti. Foolish was bigger than any single Beyoncé released in that time frame.
Yo, how do y’all nikkas delude yourself like this? Where are you from? Where was Ashanti bigger?:hhh:

How many times I gotta answer this question?

If you weren’t at least 13 years old in 2002, don’t talk to me about Ashanti and Beyoncé please.

there's a reason that weirdo has that badge under their name

Cardi B just shared a record held by Ashanti.
Cardi B Joins The Beatles & Ashanti With First 3 Hot 100 Hits in Top 10 Simultaneously; Ed Sheeran & Beyonce's 'Perfect' No. 1

Ashanti, who can't sing at all, set a music record held by only the Beatles - her first 3 songs ever hit the top 10.

yet dudes in here are telling you that she STILL wasn't a bigger artist than beyonce in her prime :gucci:

this has been a problem all up and down this discussion, dudes are blatantly ignoring FACTS/REALITY just to support beyonce.
Breh, you’re the one ignoring reality. Men lie, women lie, numbers don’t - Ashanti was never even close to Beyoncé. Ashanti in her prime was a Ja Rule background singer, nikka - stop it.
