No, I wouldn't have waited 43 minutes of a podcast to hear him try to make the case for "Anti fat" is rooted in "Anti-Black" if I had an axe to grind or if I had already decided that the premise was faulty.

I wanted to hear him state and then list the reasons why. He failed to do so, and is just flapping his gums. I was disappointed because I could have made a better case for it than he did,and I don't even agree.

The sheer number of whites in this country means you'll see a good amount of them who're obese. That still doesn't account for the disproportionate amount of people in our community who're dealing with the same issues. But that's a deflection, because this discussion is about coded language and how the dominant society weaponizes seemingly unrelated issues to target blackness. It's really no different than anti-loitering laws, which is coded legislation to say "too many nikkas in the street."
