I disagree that Black boys are coddled in school. Black kids go from being “cute kids” to just being Black around the age of 7 or 8, which is why I don’t believe in putting kids in school with too many white teachers during their formative years.

Black men aren’t coddled. I think the biggest issue has been Black men’s participation in the manisphere. I’m not sure who thought it was a good idea to publicly call out Black women under the guise of accountability. Because what happened is Black women clapped back hard, turned the mirror back to Black men’s failures, and the media loves nothing more than to highlight the failures and criticisms of Black men. It was like bringing a knife to a gun fight. Or winning a battle but losing the war. We have to keep our issues in house. But with social media that’s practically impossible.
This is the biggest crock of shyt. Where else were Black men able to call Black women out on their bullshyt?? Sure as hell wasn't on any of the platforms they ran to slandering us to the entire world I.E Oprah, Tyra Banks, ABC, (insert major platform).
Black used the platform that became available to them where they couldn't be silenced or gaslight.
Dr.Tommy Curry was harassed and had his life threatened so he had to move his family to Scotland all because he wanted to start a Black Male studies curriculum. His book The Man Not put Black academic sellouts in the choke hold because he used proof to debunk a lot of talking points aimed at Black males.

Black men finally got the mic and they letting the chopper bang and everyone's in their feelings.

Same way Hispanics are called lazy while simultaneously blamed for taking all the jobs. It's racism, it's supposed to be stupid and contradictory. We don't label it racism when it comes from black women but what else should it be called? When you say black men are hyper violent predators who are exterminating other groups of people...what are you really saying. When you say black men are struggling because they're too dumb to do xyz, what are you really saying? And this stuff is casually accepted as truth in various spaces. I'm not gonna say all, most, or even a "large" percentage of black women peddle this. But it's certainly noteworthy enough that the ones peddling it have media platforms or seats in academia.
Why do you think this is?

All the Black men in jail are there to be coddled.:stopitslime:

They sure are coddling homeless black men out in these streets.

I think that is kind of the point, or part of it.

Coddling, or not being prepared to face the real world, leads to certain negative outcomes. If a son is coddled by moms and grandmoms, what happens after they pass and he has to face the world on his own?

Black women can trash Black men and will be giving a larger platform to do so. Black men can trash Black men publicly as well. It’s not right. But it’s what it is. The only area where Black men get away with trashing Black women is Hip Hop. But it’s allowed because Black men also rap about killing each other. White media loves to tell tales of the failure of Black men.

And to whoever else quoted me (I can’t find it now for some reason). I mentioned the manisphere because it kinda jump started the current gender war of all races. But as we see, Black men have become the faces of it, as well as passport bros.

The manisphere would be the battle. Black men becoming the faces of toxic masculinity, colorism, broken families, etc is losing the war. We have to keep our issues in house.

When has hip hop ever bashed black women
You can argue that hip hop is misogynistic but it never was limited to black women

Why do you think this is?
Because black militant/revolutionary/black power students have largely disappeared from higher education since the 1980s, replaced by black feminists. And over the last few decades, intersectionality theory has taken over, pushing all other ideologies out. I have no problem with feminism at its core, and am probably a feminist when it comes to the most basic shyt. But intersectionality has convinced black women that they are double minorities, whereas black men are the brutish benefactors of patriarchy and must be brought to heel by any means necessary. They've essentially erased the blackness of black men in order to remove any semblance of us being victims of an oppressive racist system, and instead cast us as that system's shock troops...sent to punish black women.

Outside of academia I think the reasons for what we're seeing a less sinister, but worth monitoring. Why does a large portion of media in this country - advertising, television shows, social media, film, etc - cater to black women, white women, and gay men? Because they're valuable consumers. They buy a lot of shyt. Black men, specifically younger black men, don't buy a lot of shyt. We aren't being catered to.

so for example when Pac says it, it's legendary... classic quotables.... when a woman says it the tears come. i get it, you want to be adored so much by the opposite sex so it hurts more when they point out flaws, or perhaps too p*ssy to confront a man that is pointing out flaws. i see it everyday on here. i will say something in a thread that is also said by male posters and some of the incels foam at the mouth to clap back at me only. lol

No, those Black men are not "coddled" by their Moms if the inference is those Men are "protected".

Likely those men are raised by their Moms to be Son-Husbands - so those men aren't "protected" or "excused"
If (IF) any man does something "bad", his Mama isn't gonna save him from consequences of his actions.
Single black Moms are often coddling their sons. You actually seem to contradict yourself...you say these men are not coddled, but raised to be "Son-Husbands" and you are right. But that's a form of coddling. If a mother treats her son like a husband, then that means she's giving him the rights and privileges of being an adult. And these Moms are doing everything they can to save them from the consequences of their actions. At some point though, like when they get to the criminal justice system, there's not much they can do but dip into their savings and hire a lawyer. Having worked in the criminal justice system for years I see it all the time.

Many of these Moms are lonely and their sons become their de-facto boyfriends and husbands. So they give them every benefit of the doubt all the time. And sometimes the consequences are disastrous. There is a hilarious but on point episode of South Park that addresses this very thing. It's the one with the Dog Whisperer trying to correct Cartmans behavior.

"Black men ain't shyt" was a saying way before the manosphere.

Can you explain that?

Breh, it was/is worse than that.

The phrase Is literally "Nikkas Aint Shyt".

And DAMN near every Black Male in America has heard that BULLSHYT since a Child growing up.

And with ZERO Pushback.

The sad fact that the "N Word", created to denigrate our people, is used SPECIFICALLY for Black Males,
shows you just how bad the disdain for Black Men is.
