Check to see if your electric company has “ on bill credit “ program. Basically they shut off all your appliances etc during peak hrs if they’re not being used. You can still turn it on tho so it’s not like you don’t have access if you want to cook some food or turn on the ac lol….

My light bill used to be like 130ish and now it’s dropped to 80 to 90 bucks. When I was younger it even dropped lower because I was never home lol.
