inflation = negative returns on cash. Not having good returns is better than taking losses.

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq have had a negative return since January 1st.
I’m still putting money in index funds for long term investments, but that isn’t fighting inflation.

I stream all my shows, movies, sports for free.
I’ve moved most of money into stable coins for 8-9% interest, instead of holding it in a HYSA.
I use a credit card to buy everything to get 2-3% cash back.

Anymore tips?:lupe:
Reminds me I need to cancel these subscriptions

I got Prime/Max/Netflix. & Spotify/Apple :snoop:

One of my family members about to be big mad :pachaha:

Thinking of starting a side hustle.

I've bought groceries in bulk and kept extra in the freezer. I'm on frozen fruit and vegetables, making big batches of stew and soup in the pot. Might start baking my own bread too. Might as well.

I've considered canceling Netflix but I might just get the people who use my account to send me a few dollars.

Yeah it is. Inflation increases the value of assets and decreases the value of cash. Index funds are an asset.

That’s not how it works. :skip:if inflation is 7% and the S&P 500 has a negative return rate this year, then you’re losing money.

What do you mean by this? I've never had a credit card ya kno

Just look for a credit card that pays cash back. They give you money back at the end of each statement period.

Bro, you're moving the goalposts. You said "not good returns" earlier and now you are saying "negative returns"

My point is that you are doing more to fight inflation by investing your money vs holding it in cash. Simple.
