Sometimes I spray the wrists and then rub it on my neck, but I think rubbing it in changes the smell.

Rub wrists by the beginning of the jaw bone under the ear and may be a graze in the chin hair.
Women tend to not suck those places.
I remember a woman spraying too much perfume everywhere and i sucked her collar bone and it was like tasting insecticide. I had to change my whole format after that.
