The change nosie give me away and momma swung on my lip, open handed

I got away with it most of the time cause I would only steal like a buck or 2 at a time.

One time I saw 20 bucks or so on the kitchen table and took it. My family was kinda poor back then and my mom was very upset when she saw the money was gone. It was money to pay the gas bill.

Luckily I didn't spend it and when I saw how upset she was I gave it back straight away. I got in trouble for that but if I had actually spent that money? Then I woulda been truly f*cked
