Also, how much money would they have to offer you? how badly would the struggle have to be for the family?

easy to see, they don't give a fukk. this had to go through so many channels and sets of eyes before production and it was posted up for the world to see. somebody saw it just didn't care to say anything. H&M is trending heavily and black people will just tweet about how we're boycotting them and that's where it will stop.

There's been threads on this already but I don't think none has talked specifically about the boy's parent. I argee with you the parents were wrong for signing off on their boy wearing that jacket in the first place. But H&M take more of the blame imo for even thinking of selling a shirt like this. Just like that dove commericial a while back.

Did not know about the other thread, link? What to know people's thoughts.

Yeah, the company is ultimately the villain here. This is racist propaganda. I can see the parents signing off if their poor and need the money, trying to feed the family and try to advance their kids career. Desperation makes people do desperate things. However, if the parents are middle class and up, there's no fukking excuse. :francis:

His parents probably said "sure my son can model sweaters for H & M" but that doesn't mean they signed off on these shenanigans. If they weren't really watching (or even on location) at the photo shoot, I could definitely see how this would happen. Little boy didn't really think anything of it and when the parents asked "how did it go", he probably said "I'm getting paid to take pictures doing nothing."

I bet you after the fact though, everybody on the block was looking like :stopitslime:
