And a lot of those African countries have trouble with governance because of that

Governance issues come from bad leadership, corruption and foreign meddling. CAR has relatively good governance before those three aspects took over. But multiculturalism and multilingualism were there before and after.

My point is that damn near the whole world is multicultural, yet you don't see terrorists or whatever everywhere. The equation you make is intellectually lazy.

Is Switzerland unstable and ungovernable? Cameroon? Senegal? Luxemburg? India? Spain?

I'm not sure about Switzerland but yeah Cameroon and Senegal are ungovernable, as most African countries are

It's well known India is barely governable unless you live under a rock and Spain has multiple independence movements and it's actually in danger of splitting

Lol @ you giving the perfect examples of what I'm trying to say

The equation is quite accurate, the more languages and cultures a country has the harder it is to govern

China, India, African, and Asian countries all have ethnic, language, cultural, and or tribal variety internally. European countries now have migrants from the world over. White European are a mixture from the surviving tribes that intermingled. You sound like a dumb hick.

:mjlol:
What percentage makes you happy? 90% 80%? Fact is, MOST countries are exceedingly represented by majorities to a scale not seen in the West.

China is 90% Han Chinese. :what:

How in the fuking hell can you say car has good governance, car only exists in paper, it's a colonial fabrication, it barely has a functioning government and the country has been tearing itself apart over religion

Senegal ungovernable, now that's the first time I hear that:beli:

Where do you get this "India is ungovernable" info? When's the last time they went without a government?

The fact that Spain has independence movements (one serious, Basque country ain't going anywhere) doesn't mean it's "ungovernable". :beli:

What about Luxemburg, Estonia, South Africa, are they also "ungovernable" :beli:

I meant it had relatively good governance in the early years. But then corruption, bad leadership and foreign meddling took over. And no it's not tearing itself apart over religion, but you would need to know a little more about the country to understand that. Religion is a means, not the reason.

what in the fuk?

the "early years" was right after colonialism when there was european force being applied, as the force was removed the artifical creation known as CAR became more more ungovernable until today where the country is coming apart at the seams and is largely ungovernable

the fundamental reason for bad leadership and corruption is the lack of social cohesion in the country and rent seeking Rent-seeking - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

the lack of social cohesion is due to the fact of car being multi everything

they also have one of the most diverse languages in the world and 10% of china is like 135 million people. thats around 40% of the american population.

represented by majority to scale is completely different than the multi-culturalism/multi-lingual topic... the news story was about a relatively small community not a world super-power anyhow. youre straying
