This is what I was thinking. These broadcasts have a “sneeze” button hosts can hit to mute their mics. Every time the Eagles made a great play, Colinsworth’s mic went silent. Just seemed like he was cutting out what he was really saying after the plays were made.

The only way a commentator cares that much is if he’s got family or money in the game.
