Should be an interesting game. Last time they played was in 2021 I think and that was when Lamar finally got one win on Mahomes barely.
Totally different teams now.
Totally different teams now.
I said they were playing/coaching too conservative almost that entire second half, I pointed this out in real time in the game thread...Which one is it? Conservative or not?
Because Allen was going for the killshot in 2nd down.
Because their defenses played well
Why do you ignore this? It's easy for Burrow to be cool when his defense is playing well and making Mahomes look average
He’s not the PROBLEM, he isn’t the full solution. So either they should have put the ball in his hands more (51 out of 77 plays) or less……to control the game better and create better outcomes.nikkas really hate Allen. It fukking ridiculous
If you watched that game and your takeaway is that Allen is the Bills problem I don’t know what to tell you.
Ok,He’s not the PROBLEM, he isn’t the full solution. So either they should have put the ball in his hands more (51 out of 77 plays) or less……to control the game better and create better outcomes.
I don’t know why people have to say that people hate Allen or think he’s the problem to say he’s not the dude people say he is. If he is was the dude, his defenders would be able to say “he just had an off night” or “luck wasn’t with him” but neither of those are true. He is who is, played virtually mistake free in the first half, and as time ticked off the clock in the second half…… he didn’t perform like a top tier QB with his arms or legs. At the end of the day, that allowed all the other miscues and missed opportunities to show up.
People conveniently ignore thisMeanwhile, Patrick Mahomes got Travis Kelce running wide open in the end zone with no Bills around him.
Ok,
You are lacking a lot of context. Two years ago they put the ball in Allen hands, and he played almost a perfect game, but the Defense give up a fg in 13 seconds and we still lost. It is a coaching problem
How did he have an off night when the Bills WRs dropped two critical down field passes. He got bumped on the play to Shakir that was missed. It was just a great play by Chris Jones.
Also the Bills was literally missing half their starting defensive. No exaggeration. Plus the kicker missed a chance to tie the game. Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes got Travis Kelce running wide open in the end zone with no Bills around him.
Bottom line is I am fine with the way Allen played. I am not fine with keeping our head coach. Mahomes have Any Reid and Allen have a decent but not great head coach in Sean McDermott.
Yup. Everyone want to act like it is Mahomes vs Allen one on one. It’s about the parts around them and coaching. I think Mahones is a better QB than Lamar, but I have The Ravens beating the Chiefs next week because I believe the Ravens have the better team.People conveniently ignore this
Perfect example of want I am talking about.Excuses and whataboutism....we in 2024
Josh Allen regressed in the 4th quarter and failed in situational football.
Chiefs last 3 offensive possessions:
Fumble in the endzone
Punt
Punt

Perfect example of want I am talking about.
It is not excuses, it giving an account of what actually happened. I understand though. It is easier and funnier to just say its on Allen.
1. Actually no. He had the opportunity to to take the lead or tie the game. The Chiefs still would have time to win the game. He left the field giving Tyler Bass an opportunity to give the Bills 3 points and tie the games.Let's keep it factual...
1-Did Josh Allen have an opportunity to win the game for the Bills?
2-How did Josh Allen perform in the situational football component of the game?
He's not an elite playerI said they were playing/coaching too conservative almost that entire second half, I pointed this out in real time in the game thread...
Come on bruh, we've seen quarterbacks overcome being on teams with defensive limitations and play great, you can start with some of Mahomes' earlier teams as a point of reference. Cincinnati's defense played great. You're shortchanging Burrow, who still had to overcome an 11-point halftime deficit ON THE ROAD to win that game. But Allen at home, I shouldn't expect him to drive down and win with the ball in his hands, two minutes left?
You guys are inadvertently admitting that yall don't even think Allen is That Guy. Just tell me how low the bar is for him, so I know for future reference, because I apparently have higher expectations for him as an elite player than most of you...
