They inspired people with their production, and the gritty street shyt. I literally know people before they went to do some dirt or beef with people would play G.O.D part 3 or Styles P and Kiss shyt lol. It's worldwide too, they are legends in every country that has knowledge on Hip Hop. They fell off in a sense but Infamous and HOE were timeless epic historic albums. It made it's mark, those 2 albums are known all over. Quiet Storm was a big record too, but album wise the 2 mentioned were monumental. They were never the most pop group but that's not indicative of quality and in Hip Hop circles a lot of people fukked with those albums.

How many hits:jbhmm:

Joe Budden has a lot albums too

Not a very good comparison at all.

Joe had 3 hits all from one album and he had a big R&B feature on a marques houston song.

Mobb deep had 9 hits from 3 consecutive albums and had a big R&B feature on a mariah carey song.

Mobb deep are a group first then had successful solo careers.

Joe was solo first then had to join a group to keep a successful career.

They arent in the same league. As in Joe, slauterhouse etc dont hold candles to mobb deeps legacy.

Only one hit between those songs

1000% wrong

A hit record is an audio recording, usually in the form of a single or album, that sells a large number of copies or otherwise becomes broadly popular or well-known, through airplay, club play, inclusion in a film or stage play soundtrack, causing it to have "hit" (appeared on) one of the popular chart listings.

That applies to all those records.

Your disdain for mobb deep has you showing your stan flag. Lets not use emotion to combat facts.

They were big IN RAP.
Never crossover large.

Not all black folks fukked with them.
If you liked Boom Bap you loved Mobb...but if were more into that west/south sound...they werent really on your radar.

There biggest hit was Quiet Storm Remix.
That was a song that got play from all types.
