Think my son paid 60 for his mic. I helped him get a subscription to a recording program, can't remember which right now, maybe soundforge or protools. I used acid.

If I get time & we get proper sounds I'll actually drop vocals. Just got a lotta shyt going on & I have a job & a life. After midnight is when I have time to do shyt, I'm not a morning person, I sleep. We're talking about turning his closet into a booth for better sound quality.

yeah most MCs on the come up use a closet booth. i ended up getting the first mic it was available, and sounds pretty good.
