I just don't see how this girl could be put up on that pedestal when she NEVER wrote her own songs, didn't have great vocals, and her career was built mainly on R Kelly's/Timbaland's/Missy Elliot's writing and Timbaland's beats.

I hate to admit if Beyoncé had prime R Kelly writing and producing her album she might possibly have done the album better than Aaliyah, and that if Missy and Timbaland did her followup it would be pretty damn strong....so im not gon admit that shyt at all...aaliyah just seemed so much cooler than a cooler....i was a Mya and Moesha stan though
