I think you're right. They didnt draft Mallett for nothin. He appears to be the guy on tv but who knows how much say so he REALLY has, because they do seem to run a tight ship.

why did he have to jump and extend his arms all the way up then

he jumped, cause the ball was coming over the opposite shoulder of that he was looking from..you can clearly see that he's in a soft spot in the coverage and looking to Brady....over the wrong shoulder

if he correctly looked back over his left shoulder, he wouldn't have had to do that.


but none of that matters, the pass clearly hits him in the hands..and he drops it.
