In what way was peaceful protest a headache to anyone except the right-wing extremists who believe that
any protest from a black person is problematic? Owners who concern themselves about the opinions of people like that can't escape being grouped with the racists who have attempted to make Colin's protest about everything other what it was intended to be.
You think if Tom Brady or Peyton Manning had protested police violence against blacks by kneeling during the anthem that they'd be blackballed from the league? Now it could be that Kaep isn't a good enough quarterback to avoid such fallout, but it really shouldn't matter. He did nothing wrong...other than be black and make a statement that the establishment didn't care for.
