How can Apple Distribute Drake's Album when he is signed to Universal/Cash Money/Young Money?

I don't understand how Apple can distribute drake's album online exclusively when he's signed to Universal? Does Universal get a cut? Even if they do, why would they allow that? That means they are splitting the pie with Apple, when they already have Drake's rights. Which makes no sense business wise.
