The only knock against big being goat is he only had 2 albums but as far as that goes nobody has a better freshman and sophomore run than big

Breh I was saying the same until somebody made me realize how simple his rhymes are....

Just listen closely and you'll see it too

Ex: "Catch me if you can like the gingerbread man, you better have yo gat in hand cuz man"

"Lounging at the barbecues, drinking brews, with the neighborhood crews hanging on the avenues"

These are just a couple of examples of his elementary style of rhyming that were just sold with a great voice and Puffs marketing

Hov, Nas, and Rakim>>>>>>>

Finally sumbody else sees it.

Lyrically hes a lot closer to Pac than he is Nas or Jay,he was mostly carried by voice and delivery....thats not a knock because you could say the same about Pac,those things help make great emcees....but lyrically he wasnt gods gift to lyrics....and we gon end that myth that his wordplay is on par with all time greats:childplease:....he should never be in the same breath with a Fab,E-40,Jay,Big L etc.

The World, but from BK
Big's 2nd album was great, I never was much of a fan of Ready to Die though. There were some songs I really liked on it, but I wasn't a fan of a majority of it.

As of now, Nas is my top rapper.

Biggie phenomenal, wouldn't argue with that choice, I have him in my top, however due to lack of material isn't my GOAT, have Pac for example higher.

Two albums isn't enough even tho he gave us two masterpieces one of which is the greatest double disc album of all time.

He never gave us a weak whether it be his own or someone else`s he hopped on track with.

Biggie was elite on all spectrums as a rapper and he has albums with heavy influence.

He's the GOAT.
