If Ferguson taught us one thing it was how important it is to vote on a local level.

Ferguson 71% Black, 29% White

The city council is 83% White , The School Board is 86% white, Ferguson Police chief is white.

But, just 12.3% of eligible voters cast a vote.

If the Ferguson blacks which are the majority take their asses to the polls and vote on candidates with their best interest at heart. they could have more favorable relations with police and government.

Voting is important but voting just to vote isn't going to fix the problems. We need to get these white folks out of office and replace them with black people we can trust (which unfortunately is getting more dificult to find). We didn't get a chance to do it this year but one of the things I'm working on is finding out every elected official in Atlanta, their race, their voting record, and who contributes to their campaigns, and eventually send out flyers in the mail letting the people know who they should vote for and why.

Never again will I vote for a cac, regardless of what party they're in.
