Some people just don't have the funds to go out and buy a $400 console that, tbh, has nearly the same exact library of games as the PS3 (for the time being).

I grew up getting consoles a few years after they launched, and honestly that's the best way to do it. When I got a PS2 in 2003 there were so many classics already out for cheap that it was immediately worth the money. I got a PS3 in its first year and waiting for good shyt to come out was annoying.
