I grew up getting consoles a few years after they launched, and honestly that's the best way to do it. When I got a PS2 in 2003 there were so many classics already out for cheap that it was immediately worth the money. I got a PS3 in its first year and waiting for good shyt to come out was annoying.

Take a trip to the PlayStation blog and look at peoples opinions who actually buy and play games constantly.
Next, tell me who complains more...the people with a plethora of games or the ones that are starving?
