sterling has a plantation mentality.
it's easy to say what they should or shouldn't have done when you're not in their shoes. But honestly, i think i wouldn't have played those playoff games. Like the OP said, moments like this are rare but it's actually an opportunity for a teachable moment. it's an opportunity to remind the league, owners and the TV network that they hold some of the juice as well. that all of the above ain't shyt without the players. seems like they didn't want to rock the boat and maybe make things awkward or fukk up money down the line. and you know what, i kinda feel them in a way too because the (entitled) people wouldn't have supported them either. Sean bell, nothing happened. Travon, nothing. Don't taze me bro, nothing. started a war over BS, nothing (just to show this isn't even about race). you really think the people would have supported a boycott from the players or joined in a boycott? not saying that gives the players a pass to keep playing as if nothing happened. i don't agree with the players but i understand...
and again, i understand this is easy to say from my computer or whatever but that's just how i feel about it.
