Live in reality bruh.
You can't save people out of poverty by setting good examples end of the day folks gotta eat and they gon go to the quickest easiest way to do it and thats crime.
People with nothing will not allow people with something to put it in their face.
not true half my hood been to prison 10-20 years.came home got a job
Now they family men and women simply cause they got a simple HS fast food job and changed they environment for 8-10 hours a day

so I don’t believe that when I see different everyday:childplease:

Support initiatives that combat gentrification like affordable housing, while also opposing efforts to devalue black neighborhoods like district redlining, and stop confusing the effects of one with another. Affordable housing isn't bringing down property value or destroying your neighborhood. Banks refusing to finance loans for people in the market to buy your homes are.

No grand change is going to happen. Sorry but that chance has been gone for at least 4 decades. Best you can do is improve yourself and help other like minded people.

yeah best i can do is be a positive force to all i can...but not gonna cap I think we as a people are in a losing battle...we just don't value the important shyt to get us out of being underclass. Institutionalized racism is definitely to blame, just decades of being beaten up has lead us to this.

We need black think tanks and economic groups as a base.
The fact that there is no lobbying firm for black issues in DC lets you know that nobody is really taking black issues seriously and all the "activism" we see is just smoke and mirrors. Almost every industry and government on earth has lobbyists pushing their interest in congress.

Then after you get all this, whats next? Because you can have all the free housing in the world and still have fcked up communities.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
How can we take back and build our black neighborhoods? What are some ways for us to increase ownership? Don’t come in here talkin bout blk ppl ain’t got no money. There are down payment assistance programs to help with you getting into a home…you might pay like a $1000…to get a $100k-300k asset.

time to strategize

1.) Money talks. Black folks need to have access to money wether it’s high paying jobs or high return business.

2.) Manage money. For yourself, family and investments.

2.) be pro marriage.

3.) learn from other groups instead of trying to do opposite.

We'll never close this wealth gap without a community because the wealth gap is community based
This

It’s tied back into the nuclear black family. You have to start their first. A husband. Wife. Children.

We don’t have that. We have a bunch of single people trying to finesse each other. That is our culture now unfortunately

Without a strong black family everything else just falls apart. No foundation

Really? give me an example of a fukked up community where people are able to generate generational wealth via their real estates appreciation in value like white people do? Most people who inherit 400k to 1 million dollars from their parents tend to do ok in life in my experience.
These communities you speak of get fukked up and fall into disrepair because the people who live can no longer afford to maintain it.
