Depends on your daily caloric intake. That might be the only thing you eat all day but it's possible

I used athletes as an example bc that shows that you can eat Snickers all day but you have to burn that off plus extra to lose weight.

Breh you are clueless on how macronutrients work. All Calories are not equal or the same. Read up and research before you turn 45-50 and it's too late

That's not how it works tho.... You can eat and drink whatever you want but the thing is you have to burn more calories than you take in. Why do you think athletes eat so much? They always working out. There's so many stories about athletes eating junk food and still being in shape. Lamar Odom used to eat nothing but honey buns and candy. He didn't gain weight until he stopped playing
That’s why it’s funny seeing all these out of shape people trying to go full on vegan when you have folks with athletes bodies eating steak and all kinds of shyt. You just have to know what you’re doing out here.

Well explain it then since me and people who study this for a living don't know.

Never said all calories were the same either.

Don't matter. She can eat what she normally eats but it has to be less. That's why people count calories.

If she wants to take in 1500 calories per day she can eat a burger but it's probably gonna be small and might be the only thing she gets to eat that day. Normal people cut that type of food out bc they can eat more lower calorie foods in a day. Plus it restricts all the additives in junk food
Yea you can do that but your cals will stretch more with leaner meals.

Also you get better satiation from whole, “healthier” foods. Allowing you to sustain off less cals. Due to better Marco and micro nurtrients. They are usually more calorie dense. You get more bang for the buck so to speak.

So yea you can have a pack of skittles (~240 cals) or you can have 8 ounces of chicken and a side of broccoli for the same amount of cals.

I’m not totally shyting on the “cals are cals” take, because I use it a lot if I’m eating out or on the road.

But there is definitely context that goes along with it.

That's all I'm saying without going into extreme detail

If it ain't da community eats horribly. It's da community spends their money frivolous or OMG you shouldn't be 25+ dressing like ??????

What's next crying about those who choose to live a quiet suburban neighborhood vs living in the city?

Just make the best decisions for You. Don't worry about some adult way across the country or down the way from your spot.

Look up Functional Medicine. There are doctors who "study this for a living" and they know plenty and have written hundreds of books on it

Macronutrients: Protein, Fats, Carbohydrates. Depending on the food, it can effect your insulin (which is VERY important when it comes to health), it can effect how much energy you get from it, and can effect how it is turned into fat

A great starting point is to learn about how High Sugary foods/drinks are very bad for your health
- It kills insulin sensitivity
- Makes you fat
- Makes your arteries and veins sticky, which restricts blood flow
- Causes cardiovascular problems
- Causes high blood pressure
- Causes Fatty Liver, Fatty Pancreas, and Gallbladder problems

People still failing for the "Calories in, Calories out" lie :russ:

A Snickers bar has less Calories than a plate of Baked Salmon and Brown Rice. So we should be eating Snickers instead to lose weight?

That’s how it works, and Michael Phelps said he was eating straight junk food while he was training. Now let me guess you’re going to say a gold medal Olympic Athlete doesn’t know what he’s talking about

I have been calorie counting for 10 years. I eat candy and cereal and snack foods nearly every single day (generally abide by the 80/20 rule) I control my weight easily and my bloodwork is also very good.

LMAO at you thinking that human thermodynamics is a lie.
