How can you not respect Lebron after this?

I respect him as a player, but I don't wanna hear anything about his stats. He wasn't even bothering to play defense for much of that series. I wouldn't go as far as to say they're empty, but they're not impressive given the context of how horrible his defense was. If he had worse box score #s but showed better defense it would be impressive. But he didn't.

:manny:

he actually played good one on one defense this game. KD didn't start going crazy until RJ was on him. Games 1, 2, and 3 he was terrible though. Not like KD or anybody on the Warriors defended him well either though, the nikka averaged a 30 point triple double and had monstrous first halfs in 4 of the 5 games. Warriors just outlasted them and outscored them

He was padding his stats late, did nothing to stop the bleeding as normal. Kyrie gave it all he had, Ty Lue rode him into the ground
Kyrie went 0-6 in the 4th. He didn't stop the fukking bleeding. He squeezed the wound

The Comfort Zone
People just see a pile-on and join in. We're in the era where there's a massive group of people that just cheer for whomever the favorite team is every year. Already got people on my FB talking about "we" won...dude from KC...talkin bout "we warriors fans".

Breh, this ain't nothing new. Everybody was a Bulls fan, Lakers fan, Spurs fan, and Heat fan in my lifetime. Bandwagoners legit disgust me. Fukk em :pacspit:

:francis:...wish he could have at least got that 2015 one.

the respect is there, but yall gotta cut this way too outmatched shyt out. these teams were evenly matched, they just got beat.

the talent gap The Cavs have over the rest of the East is far and away more pronounced than the perceived gap between the Warriors and the Cavs. no excuses
I think the gap is similar to what happened with the Heat vs. the Spurs.

Spurs bench was just much better than the Heat bench. Today showed the Warriors bench was far superior to the Cavs bench
35 to 9

Starting 5 have no excuses tho either. KD outplayed LeBron 3 out of 5 games (I thought LeBron was better in game 3....KD was just more clutch). Curry outplayed Kyrie out of 5 games as well.

the ether
34/12/10 56% from the floor.

Issue for him is he's regressed defensively to the point where he can't guard great scorers anymore. Need to get another defender. LeBron's not going to get better there.

No one in NBA history could have averaged 35-10-10 and still had enough in the tank to shut down an MVP-caliber offensive player on the other end too.

Cavs need to be chasing strong two-way players. Kyrie and Love (not to mention Korver/Frye) are too offense-only, TT and Shump too defense-only. They need to have 4-5 guys on the court who can play both ways or Golden State is going to be hanging banners up every year.
