This stuff is complicated. There's conventional good looking (i.e. young Denzel movie star good looks) and then there is the unconventional offbeat shyt (being "ruggedly" handsome). Movie star good looks get you a lot of p*ssy, especially when you're young. When women are at their most impressionable, they all want a dude who looks like their favorite celebrity.

That offbeat shyt starts to work like magic once you're in your late twenties and beyond. And it's not just because women of a certain age have lower standards. If you take care of yourself physically, dress in ways that complement your looks, you can eat like crazy by looking different. I've seen it happen with a lot of my friends. The dudes who couldn't get non-crackhead p*ssy at 15/16 were pulling 9s and 10s at 30. They hit the gym, they made sure they groomed themselves well and they thrived off of a forward/aggressive personality.

I never cultivated that sort of shyt because it came too easy to me as a kid. So by the time I was 30, they were pulling more than I was in the club. Women aren't checking as much for a 30 year old on some pretty boy shyt lol.
