Yeah shame what they did to char's character in Char's counter attack. stories don't risks let Zeta anymore

I disagree. CCA had some bad characterization
Quess :why: Hathoway :snoop:
but Char's was actually extremely consistent. Char always opposes the earth. People forget that because in Zeta he was a protagonist but that's because in Zeta we shifted perspectives from having the colonies be the antagonists to the Earth being the antagonists. In the original, Zeta, and CCA char always fights against earth for the liberation of space. CCA Char is just the natural progression of that.

Nah, in Zeta he was such a complex character, and very likable.

In CCA, he turned almost into a Cartoon villain with vague objectives that didn't make sense.

I mean you got to remember that Zeta had 50 episodes to develop his character vs CCA which had 2 hours. What were you expecting?

The Deep State
I was listening to a lot of hip-hop on Sunday. Mainly, the first two JEdi mind tricks albums, which I liked a lot when I was a kid. and the first Big L album, which I listened to for the first time ever. I don't know how I missed that one when I was kid, that Big L album is hard as hell.

There is so much racism and homo-bashing in hip-hop.

Frankly, I am surprised a bunch of white guys(JMT) are allowed to say so many anti-Semitic lyrics.

From the JMT albums, I heard lyrics like
"Guilty like the Jews and crucifixion of Jesus"

"Those synagogues of satan will burn down at my feet"

"Those heathens in new Jerusalem"

there were was also anti-homosexual lyrics such as

"unnatural like sex between fagg3ts"

The Big L album was littered with violence and homo-bashing.
"Danger ZOne", which is my favorite song so far, contains lyrics describing senseless murder and rape.

Doesn't this music go totally against the virtues of progressivism?
same way you defend all the misogyny of the rock music you listen to.

Shut the fukk up.

I prefer violence, controversy and adult topics in movies and music. I believe people should say whatever they want.

But that's not the progressive ideal. The progressive ideal is total censorship. It started with chumps like al gore and his wife, who tried to censor all music in early 90s and other idiots like joe Lieberman, who tried to take-out mortal kombat. Now, it has ballooned into this crazy SWJ monitored world where comedians are afraid to do stand-up routines and there are no more cool R-rated movies.

Didn't Nas say something like "my style style switches like a fagg0t" on half-time? The word fakkit is nearly worse than n-word. I just don't understand how hardcore hip-hop fans can also be a part of this new PC warrior progressive army that we have now.

I mean my favorite hip-hop albums are stuff like "Dark is hell and hell is hot", "the infamous", "only built for CL", broths lynch's "Season of the sickness", three 6 mafia's "the end". These types of dark, adult themed albums would never be popular in today's world, yet all these albums were certified gold or platinum in the 90s.

How does one post on message boards with usernames derived from a Japanese sci-fi franchise for like 10 years after what the Japanese did to his people during WWII???

"Wig twisting season. where nikkas get they wig twisted back within reason"-- MF doom. How can you listen to that and reconcile it with your progressive ideology?

It's disgusting how you make those horrific events in history sound so trivial.

My grandma is 95 years old and she still remembers the invasion like it yesterday. She was scarred for life, and until this day, hates Japanese people with a passion.

Thrash metal music doesn't go against my beliefs. Most metal artists are very conservative.

There is no delta between the music I listen to and my political beliefs.

when I listened to hip-hop 1992 - 2003, it was very insensitive to homo-sexuals even the so-called backpacker or "good rap". Mos def said, on Black Star, something of along lines of "....be mad fags, now were sinking ship like we did to ahab" in the same song he said something like " you are synonym for feminine, sweeter than some cinnamon". That's an insult to gays and effeminate men. Re-definition is one of my favorite songs ever, but how can YOU progressives like a song like that is so insensitive to people's feelings?

Could Mos def, with his standing in society, use rap lyrics like that in today's world? No, he couldn't because this is progressive-controlled world. People would boycott his movies, and the gay-patrol would blackball his career.

When faq-rap beta male albums started dropping like "Iron Galaxy", anything from Sage Francis, anticon or def Jux, Living legends i quickly exited the hip-hop underground scene. Maybe underground rap is super-PC and conforms to progressive ideals. That's where it seemed to be heading. I don't know because I don't give enough of a fukk about underground hip-hop.
