Yes and no, technically. People refer to east coast being like DC, Maryland, Philly, Jersey, NYC, Boston, etc. Down South being Florida, Georgia, Bama, Carolinas, NO, Texas, etc. Most of the East Coast has similar weather and temperatures. Down South it varies.
