How College got so expensive

College is expenses because the federal government stopped funding public colleges.
Once they made it easy for students to get loans, students started leaving out of state.
Then schools started adding amenities to compete with each other which drove up the costs.

What a load of BS 
People would say ANYTHING to ignore Government's involvement in school prices becoming higher
Once they fully guaranteed Student Loans for Colleges, it opened the floodgates for Colleges to higher up prices with no risk of not getting paid back from Student loans defaulting
Then to make matters worse, they doubled down on stupidity by taking away the Student's option of claiming bankruptcy on Student Loans to wipe away a Student's debt
Then tripled down on stupidity by using Politicians as puppets to promote 4 year degrees as the ONLY way a child can become successful
They created this mess we are in
