Whenever black sitcoms get talked about 227 is an afterthought. I tend to forget about it myself, but been seeing repeats of it on tv lately. I'm surprised how many of those episodes and whole lines of dialouge I remember from watching it as a kid. James Franco knew what time it was

Great show but I guarantee most of the posters here aren't old enough to have seen it, homie. I was born in 86, so I caught maybe the last 2 seasons of it. but if you were born in 86 or after, there's a good chance you missed that shyt. And unless you're watching reruns on TVOne, or BET back in the day, you missed it
