Snoop and them felt some kind of way when Pac landed on DR because suddenly he became the star and everything was about him when Snoop expected him to be the lil homie and play second fiddle to his marquee. Not to mention his work ethic was the polar opposite they were used to with Dre and that in effect forced everyone to step their game up or sit back and watch Pac lock the studios out back to back, take your beats, feature and hook then drop his own verses and have it on retail before you know whats what.
Him and Suge mashing in red obviously didn't help either as so many of the blues got herbed on the regular by the bunch of Damu Deebos they had up in the spot and Dres departure and Pac taking the credit for it wasn't a good look for the DPG who were reliant on him as their cosign. Add Snoops disloyalty into the mix and there you have it. Note how he didn't beef with Quik, Hammer, any of the producers and the rest of the B Team, just the boys in the blue.
Pac and Suge had common enemies so they became great friends and both liked the street side and felt they had something to prove. Dangerous combination for anyone that stood in the way of it and themselves in the long run.
DR was never going to last long due to the factors at play but Pacs arrival just speeded all that up so the cracks they'd tried to paper over became chasms with a quickness as him and Suge were all gas, no brakes.
